What is bidding?

Bid price or "Bid" is the highest amount a bidder/buyer is willing to pay for the selected vehicle

Why do I need to make a Depost?

A deposit is required in advance for security purposes, to ensure that there won't be last minute cancellationns or any fake or spam bidding request

Is the deposit refundable?

Yes, the deposit is 100% refundable at any time. Bear in mind that bank or transfer fees will be deducted from the amount to be reimbursed

Is there a deadline for placing bids?

All bids must be placed at least one hour before the auction for the selected vehicle begins in Japanese time

Can I bid for multiple vehicles but only win one?

Yes, you can. We will be bidding one by one based on the upcoming time. Please note that if 2 vehicles are coming in different auction houses almost at

How long do I have to pay for the balance invoice after winning the vehicle or bought from stock?

You will have 72 hours to complete the payment since the invoice was issued and sent to you

It is possible to cancel a vehicle after winning the bid?

Yes. Any cancellation made for auction vehicles will incur in a cancellation fee of JPY 100,000 or 30% of the total cost, whichever is higher

How do I read the inspection sheet?

We will translate the report for you, so you can decide if you would like to bid or not

How much do I have to bid for the vehicle I selected?

We will advise you the estimated reserve price based on market price, condition, location, etc. Please note that if the bid amount is low, we reserve the right to do not place a bid

How do I find a vehicle that is not listed or is a special request?

You can send us an email or fill out our inquiry form, hence we will search for the vehicle from all our sources

What kind of maintance work do I have to do after my vehicle arrives?

We recommend you to check and change oil and filters, check the tires pressure, radiator fluids, brake pads and the battery

Can I buy spare spare parts for my vehicle

Yes, please send us and email or fill out our inquiry form. Bear in mind that depending on the country of destination, inner cargo is not allowed,hence we will have to send the spare part by EMS, DHL or other services. If the part exceeds the limit of weight and size, we recommend you to use shared container

Do you give any warranty for the vehicles?

No, any auction house, local dealership or us do not offer any sort of warranty for the purchased vehicle. Used vehicles found in Japan are usually in good condition.

Does the price of the vehicle include all the domestic costs applicable, logistic, ocean insurance and ocean freight?

No, the price for the vehicle does not include other costs. You will be advised of the estimated overall cost for CNF or CIF depending on the country of destination

Can I cancel a vehicle purchased from auction stock or wholesale?

No, any vehicles purchased from auction stock or wholesale cannot be cancelled. In case of cancellation, there will be a penalty of JPY 100,000 or 30% of the total costs, whichever is greater

What else do I have to pay on top of the car's price?

You will have to pay for logistic from the auction house to the port of embarkation, documents fee, custom clearance fee, courier fee, ocean freight, ocean insurance*, inspection*, Rosper cars handling fee, etc. We will advise you what you will have to pay depending on the country of destination

Documents

When will I received the documents of the car?

We will receive the Bill of Lading and original Export Certificate withn 5-7 working days since the vessel leaves the port. We will send the documents plus the proforma (commercial) invoice by DHL

Which documents will I receive?

You will receive the Bill of Lading, original Export Certificate (and its translation in English) and the proforma (commercial) invoice

How do I track my documents upon being dispatched?

We normally send the documents by DHL, hence we will provide you a tracking number to track the package

How long does it take to receive the documents?

Usually, DHL takes from 3-5 days to deliver the package. If more than this period of time, we will inform

Do you accept credit cards or bank checks?

No, we do not accept any credit cards or bank checks

Do you accept foreign currencies?

We work with JPY only, hence if you send any amount in a different currency, it will be exchanged to JPY

Do you accept Letter of Credit Payment?

No, we dont accept any LC payment

Which payment method can I use?

You can transfer any funds by Paypal or International bank transfer. Our details are in "How to buy section"

Shipping

To which countries do you export?

We export to any country that allows brand new or used vehicles imports from Japan

How do I know when my vehicle will be shipped?

We will inform you when the booking of the vessel was confirmed and will provide you the estimated date of departure and arrival

What type of ocean insurance do you offer?

We normally work with the ocean insurance provided by the shipping liner. If you would like an additional one, please contact us.

How do I know my port of destination?

You can contact us directly. No all ports operate from arrivals from Japan and some are exclusive for Ro-Ro or container only. We will advise you which is the closest

How do I know when my vehicle will be arriving?

The notify party selected by the importer/buyer will be contacted by the shipping liner when the vessel is arriving or about to dock

How do I clear my vehicle at the arrival port?

When you receive all the documents sent by us, you will be able to start the clearing process. In some countries you can do it by yourself, but in most cases, you will need a clearing agent
